Description
We are looking for a BA with excellent handle on basic business analyst job responsibilities along with stronger emphasis on the critical skill sets described below the responsibilities .
Job Responsibilities :
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst with strong expertise in Information systems and software development life cycle and processes
- Knowledgeable in supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs.
- Proficient in utilizing formal and informal communication methods to communicate to diverse audiences (management, customers, technical team , other teams etc.)
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by competing and updating project documentation ; managing project scope; adjusting schedules and priority when necessary; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing relationships with technical and business partners.
- Identify ,create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and system process analysis ; focusing on quality improvement and safe data management ; developing process improvements ; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; partnering with internal and external customers to ensure the end system provided meet and align with business and company strategies and policies.
- Highly proficient in various forms of project related documentation techniques
- Collaborate closely with technical team to implement requirements .
- Hands on knowledge with various forms of testing
- Highly comfortable with data analytics; Strong ability to analyze data to look for pattern or trends; high Proficiency with SQL and Excel ; ability to troubleshoot issues looking at data ; ability to understand data to help with adhoc reporting needs of business partners.
- Familiar with APIs and middle wares
- Familiar with good user interface design and practices
Requirements
- Excellent Communication – Good handle on English and able to communicate effectively through oral and written communication channels.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability is a must.
- Data Analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Excel. This is a critical skill set that is a must for the position that I am seeking.
- Self-motivating and ability to multitask.
- Good technical understanding – able to understand and keep high level picture in mind while working on low level details.
- Banking or financial experience is nice to have but not must have.
