Description
We are seeking an experienced secure remote access focused, Senior Platform Engineer who, under minimal supervision, will design, develop, and maintain secure remote access platform. A successful candidate will be a highly skilled member of a team responsible for manufacturing infrastructure emphasizing security and operational reliability.
Some of the main responsibilities are to:
- Scope of work to cover secure remote access platform.
- Increase infrastructure reliability by partnering with other IT capabilities leveraging an agile approach to address reliability opportunities.
- Function as a platform owner for secure remote access
- Evaluation of market alternatives every 3 years.
- Works with Security and Architect groups to define access roles within the platform.
- Audits Access and removes unused accounts. Preferably automated using Salepoint or like tool.
- Integrations with other platforms is functional. (Axonius, Splunk, ServiceNow, LM, ITOM, etc.)
- Standards are documented, communicated, and shared with all affected parties.
- Manage secure remote access solution vendor relationship.
- Platform is monitored for health and stability.
- Periodically elicit feedback for user experience and usability.
- Analyze system failures or bugs and providing solutions to restore functionality demonstrating a high level of initiative and executing against a defined plan and strategy.
- Use Good Customer Focus and troubleshooting skills.
- Strategically think and formulate strategic and tactical plans.
- Understand and translate business requirements in value driven actions.
- Work independently, setting goals, and achieving milestones with minimal direction.
Requirements
- Strong customer focus, technical support and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in secure remote access platforms supporting manufacturing environments and the support of included systems.
- Working Knowledge of secure remote access platforms and tools: (Honeywell ICS Shield, Secure Remote Access platforms, ServiceNow/ITOM, LogicMonitor, Splunk, Python, Ansible)
- Experience in technical or cyber security related position administering secure remote access to wired and wireless networks or firewall security.
- Experience with the management of secure remote access and troubleshooting
- Experience with the Purdue model for industrial controls
- Experience with Project Management
